Circular A2Z: MUUSE

CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Reuse is one of the best practice for the circular economy.

Founded in 2018 by a group of environmentally conscious individuals,
MUUSE—short for "multiple use"—is a Singapore-based company committed to eliminating single-use waste through smart, reusable packaging systems.

Operating in cities like Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada (Toronto & Banff now, more to come!) and U.S. ,
MUUSE partners with cafés, restaurants, and events to offer a convenient borrow-and-return system for cups and containers.

𝑩𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘:
Customers use the
MUUSE app to borrow a reusable cup or container from a participating vendor.

𝑬𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚:
Savor your beverage or meal on the go.

𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏:
Drop off the used item at any
MUUSEe return point within a specified time frame.

Each item is trackable and serialized, ensuring efficient management and hygiene.

𝘞𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯:
MUUSE has successfully diverted over 450,000 single-use items from landfills through collaborations with large-scale events, corporations, universities, and café networks across Asia and North America.

𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘙𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘦:
With a return rate of nearly 98%,
MUUSE ensures that its reusable containers are utilized repeatedly, maximizing environmental benefits.

𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴:
MUUSE achieved a significant reduction in carbon emissions compared to single-use packaging, approximately 50,000 kg tons of CO2-equivalent emissions are already saved!

The proliferation of single-use packaging contributes significantly to environmental degradation.
MUUSE's innovative approach not only reduces waste but also fosters a culture of reuse and responsibility, demonstrating that sustainability and convenience can coexist.

Would you embrace a reusable packaging system like MUUSE in your daily routine?
